The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified some African Countries with no Coronavirus death cases.
So far Africa has recorded over 8000 death due to complications arising from COVID-19.
According to available statistics by the John Hopkins University and Africa Center for Disease Control on COVID-19 in Africa, there is no country in Africa without coronavirus cases. Currently, as of June 23/6/2020, here are the major statistics:
- Confirmed cases – 315,380
- Recovery – 150,594
- Active cases – 156,447
- Deaths – 8,339

Uganda
- Uganda has reported 774 cases, Zero death
Eritrea
- Eritrea has reported 143 cases, Zero death
Namibia
- Nambia has reported 63 confirmed COVID 19 cases, Zero death
Lesotho
- Lesotho has reported 12 confirmed cases, zero deaths
Seychelles
- Seychelles has reported 11 confirmed cases, Zero death
However, Egypt with 2,193 reported deaths, has the highest number of Coronavirus deaths in Africa.
