You can improve your life with these tips:

“If you try anything, if you try to lose weight, or to improve yourself, or to love, or to make the world a better place, you have already achieved something wonderful, before you even begin. Forget failure. If things don’t work out the way you want, hold your head up high and be proud. And try again. And again. And again!” – Sarah Dessen

Here are 8 practical ways to improve your life

  1. Make time for the things you love.

“Follow what you are genuinely passionate about and let that guide you to your destination.”

— Diane Sawyer

One of the things I love doing is writing and helping people Each time am able to finish a good content and someone reads and appreciates it, am always happy that I am making progress.

“I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint—and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.”

— Oprah Winfrey

The fastest route to your destination is to dedicate more time and resources for the things you love. Remember as Sheryl Sandberg once said “We can each define ambition and progress for ourselves. The goal is to work toward a world where expectations are not set by the stereotypes that hold us back but by our personal passion, talents, and interests”

So what are you passionate about? Dedicate more time to it.

  1. Spice up your day with exercise

However, you want to do it, spend at least 20 minutes to sweat every day, whether it’s running, walking to the office, just find something that can increase your activity speed. This is very good for your physical fitness and productivity.

  1. Think before you speak

Words have power, it can either help destroy or build somebody. So before you say or comment on anything think before you do. Because what comes out of your mouth determines the kind of people that will hang around you and that can influence your growth positively or negatively.

  1. Write a letter to your future self.

Think about yourself 5 years from today, what do you want to achieve? What are your dreams? Write this as a letter to your future self and it will motivate you to do more.

  1. Don’t limit yourself, you can achieve anything

“Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve. — Mary Kay Ash

Forget about challenges and anything that look like failure, you can overcome and achieve anything. Once you open your mind to these possibilities, you will witness improvement.

  1. Admit your mistakes

“By admitting your inadequacies, you show that you’re self-aware enough to know your areas for improvement – and secure enough to be open about them” – Adam Grant

It is only by admitting your mistakes that you can learn and grow. Don’t deny them, admit, learn and grow.

  1. Believe in yourself

“Always be yourself and have faith in yourself. Do not go out and look for a successful personality and try to duplicate it.” -Bruce Lee

You have what it takes to be great, believe in your strengths, your talent and keep on developing them.

  1. It’s okay to ask for help

“Never let your ego get in the way of asking for help when in desperate need. We have all been helped at a point in our lives.” –

Edmond Mbiaka.

The bottom line is if you truly want to improve your life, seek help and wisdom where necessary and always remember that it’s courageous reach out for help.
